About the speaker

Gilla Rosen is director of Yakar, founded by her late husband, Rabbi Mickey Rosen. She teaches Talmud and Midrash at Yakar Jerusalem and Women in Halakha at Nishmat and works as a yoezet halakha. Originally American, she lived in England for 17 years and participated in the first (mad) Limmud gatherings. She has six wonderful children.
